JOBS AND OPPORTUNITIES
Moving Parts Arts is a charity run by a small team of staff, freelancer artists and volunteers. Wherever possible we offer job opportunities, bursaries and internships, primarily aimed at North East of England-based creative professionals or those looking to get into the industry.
BECOME A MOVING PARTS TRUSTEE!
We are seeking new Trustees to join our Moving Parts Arts Board. Help shape the future of our organisation as we celebrate 10 years of connecting people and places through puppetry in 2027.
As we move into our 10th year (2027), we are looking to expand our Board to represent the marginalised communities we work with and for. We are especially interested in hearing from local people who identify as working class, global majority, disabled, and/or LGBTQIA+, but we welcome anyone with the commitment, vision and skills to help us move forward into our second decade.

We would especially like to meet individuals who:
-
Are based in the North East of England
-
Have experience of working and/or participating in community arts, theatre, visual arts, or in any other creative industries. We’re particularly interested in people who have experience and/or a keen interest in puppetry
-
Have marketing/strategic press & PR experience
-
Have financial experience
-
Are well connected with local communities in the North East
-
Are passionate about making Newcastle a creative and colourful place to live and work
