GIANT KITTIWAKE

With a huge, 7-metre wingspan, our giant Kittiwake is perfect for seaside or nature-themed events. Originally created as part of our City of Kittiwakes project, to celebrate the largest UK inland colony of kittiwakes that roost under the Tyne Bridge. The wings feature feathers that have been inscribed by hundreds of participant's messages about sanctuary, community and nature.
"The parade was fantastic and it was just such a joyful and inviting atmosphere. We all need to remind ourselves more often of things like play, fun, community and this was a great invitation to do so - a breath of fresh air in the midst of all the worries, fears and stress of these times.
