The Moving Parts Scratch Space is a unique pop-up venue aimed at festivals and events where performance and development opportunities are offered to artists specialising in visual theatre. Through a nationwide application process per edition, artists are given a platform to present their work-in-progress to peers and audiences, a travel bursary, food, accommodation and access to the rest of the participating event. This edition of the Scratch Space will be the first time we are staging it in our home city!  All Scratch Space events are free but donations are welcome.

A show about maps, journeys and monsters. Two performers swap stories of the journeys they have been on, each one vying to outdo the other with tales of monstrous creatures and terrifying beasts they have seen on their travels. Shadows are cast onto the wall giving monsters mythical proportions... and then double bass and vocals create a haunting accompaniment to the stories.
